Product with Purpose

  • Coffee

Our coffee is locally roasted by Kind Coffee. It is organic, sustainably grown, and fair trade. Most coffee is grown with chemicals (insecticides, fertilizers, fungicides, etc.) which have a negative impact on the surrounding environment. The coffee is also shade grown, allowing for habitat to thrive instead of being wiped out for conventional farming.

  • Tea

We source our tea products from Rishi and Big Heart Tea. Both companies use direct trade with farmers around the world to obtain high-quality, organic tea. This allows farmers to receive fair wages for a better standard of living for themselves and the local community.

  • No Dairy

We solely use plant-based milks. Studies have shown that the lifecycle of plant based milks require less water, land mass, energy, and chemicals which is better for our environment! We mainly use oat milk, which according to National Geographic, has been considered the most eco-friendly milk alternative to date.

  • Big Flavor

We use high quality syrups that are produced using cane sugar instead of corn syrup. They are vegan-friendly, non-GMO, Kosher, and gluten-free. Routin is ISO 14001 certified and has outlined goals to lower their consumption of water, energy, and waste.

  • Packaging

We use minimal packaging and most of it is compostable or recyclable. The bags our coffee beans arrive in, tea bags, and some of our drinkware is compostable. We were strictly using compostable drinkware; however, it has come to our realization that most events don’t offer compost, so we are switching our cold cups to be recyclable to direct more waste away from the landfill. The milk cartons and syrup bottles we use are also recyclable.

  • Other Items

Sometimes we offer special products in addition to coffee and tea! We strive to make our products high-quality and eco-friendly. For example, we use an all natural cocoa from Omanhene. Their cocoa beans are harvested and processed with low environmental impact. Also, Omanhene pays their farmers and employees higher than average wages. This results in a healthy community and ecosystem.
